WINDRA MEKAR SCHOLARSHIP GELOMBANG II
CV. Windra Mekar merupakan produsen obat tradisional dengan produk unggulan yaitu kapsul kunir putih. Produk dari perusahaan ini merupakan implementasi dari penelitian Direktur CV. Windra Mekar yaitu Prof. Dr. Ir. Dwiyati Pujimulyani, M.P., seorang guru besar bidang pangan di Universitas Mercu Buana Yogyakarta. Perusahaan ini didirikan dengan tujuan untuk membantu meningkatkan kesehatan masyarakat, memberdayakan masyarakat sekitar, dan sebagai sarana pembelajaran dengan wujud penelitian terkait dengan pengembangan produk di CV. Windra Mekar.
Meningkatnya keinginan siswa untuk melanjutkan studi di jenjang sarjana membuat CV. Windra Mekar ingin berkontribusi dalam mendorong dan membantu siswa untuk berkuliah. Hal tersebut diwujudkan dengan mengadakan beasiswa yaitu “Windra Mekar Scholarship”. Beasiswa ini bertujuan untuk:
- Mewadahi siswa berprestasi untuk melanjutkan studi di jenjang S1
- Sarana untuk belajar dan mengaplikasikan ilmu yang didapatkan dengan cara berkontribusi di CV. Windra Mekar
- Membantu meringankan biaya kuliah
- Meningkatkan semangat siswa untuk melanjutkan studi di jenjang S1 di Program Studi Teknologi Hasil Pertanian
Harapannya siswa lulusan SMA/SMK dapat terus meningkatkan pengetahuan dan kemampuannya dengan melanjutkan studi di tingkat S1 agar Indonesia dapat semakin maju dan berkembang.
Beasiswa Windra Mekar sudah pernah diadakan di tahun sebelumnya dan tahun ini akan diadakan dalam 3 Gelombang. Gelombang II ini sudah sukses terlaksana pada tanggal 22 Juni 2020 hingga 10 Juli 2020 dan telah diumumkan pada tanggal 16 Juli 2020. Gelombang II ini telah terpilih 2 pendaftar terpilih untuk mendapatkan uang pembayaran SPA sebesar Rp 10.100.000 yang digunakan untuk kuliah di Program Studi Teknologi Hasil Pertanian Universitas Mercu Buana Yogyakarta Kampus 1 Jalan Wates Km 10.
